I know this is a 220 gr Sierra thread but at the other end a 160 gr Barnes TTSX at 3300 fps+ would be an interesting load. I never got to try them when I had my 325 and wish I would have. Hopefully I'll find another lefty 325 one day or maybe a Browning BLR.

Welcome. Those 200 gr Accubond's are a great bullet. The heavy 220 gr Sierra's should be awesome out of your new 325 as well. Please let us know how it works out for you.

Both are excellent loads. Those 220's are shooting great. The 130's should be awesome on deer and even bigger game.

I'm curious, what are your plans for those loads? That 220 is a factory velocity 30-06 load and the 130 is a lot like a 270 Win load.

Both are great loads. Not too often you see loads for a 308 using 130 gr and especially 220 gr bullets.

Makes sense. The XTP mag might be the ticket for bigger game at your speeds. Sounds like the 250 gr XTP is working quite well for deer.

Looks like a pretty tough bullet. I wonder if you could see a noticeable difference between this and the 250 gr in your other thread on deer sized game?

A 375 based off of the 358 Norma case. Could also be a 9.3 mm.

Those were tough scopes and will serve you very well. Mine did well with Big Game for full power loads using bullets from 250-300 gr. Worked so well I never tried anything else for powder. I had a reduced load using IMR 3031 and the 235 gr Speer at around 2700 fps. That's such a great bullet at...

Sure is nice when everything comes together like that. Looks like both the 7 mm RM and 7mm-08 loads have great speed and accuracy. Seems like most of the guys who own the Garmin love it.
