These same people are behind the movement to remove confederate monuments and to rewrite our history whether it is black ,white or indifferent. I believe they are a back door communist movement to take over everything and change our way of life including destroying the constitution.
Great idea that looks very usable. Just a little word of wisdom on the use of wood that fits into pockets/cup holders, if it gets wet the wood will swell and lock in place making a mechanical lock. had this happen to me with a boat rack I made for a pickup to haul a johnboat on before I got a...
After some searching to find out the whole story I discovered that they were made by Bofors. The Gentleman in Ill.
Was tired of trying to get the big manufacturers to release and sell primes for reloading much like they are doing today and found that Bofors was willing to import them to the US...
To be honest though I have used them and still have some small rifle primers that came in wooden trays I don't remember a lot about them except they were inexpensive and did what they were required to do which was to ignite the powder. My father and I in the 60's used thousands of the shot gun...
Dang, now you let the cat out of the bag. Hahaha. Actually, mine is built on a Rem 725 action and boy will it sing with long bullets set way out there. I've killed everything that is killable with it here on the right coast.;)
Great Find and very nice looking rifles.
I had an older Marlin 336 in 30-30 when the 307 first came out and Winchester got the bullets mixed upped in manufacturing ammo, the Marlin bore was .308 and wouldn't shoot the Winchester 30-30 brand ammo, key holed at fifty yards. I discovered the...
I don't see a reason for not using nickeled brass as long as you clean it like you would non nickeled brass.
Just be aware like any other brass that after numerous loadings the nickel tends to separate and could cause problems, it's basically common sense to inspect the brass.
Any dirty brass...
Great picture Guy.
When I was still driving my truck I would haul municipal waste to a commercial land fill in southern Va., The Eagles would knock down a seagull and crippler it so it couldn't fly and then would show their young how to attack the crippled bird on the ground.
I sat in the truck...
I have yet to kill game with my .338Wm and probably never will but I can't say that about my M70 35 Whelen Ackley improved. Man what a hard hitting caliber using 225gr partitions.
Guy I think it was you who told me my 225gr Pt load Dewy helped me develop was generating 4000lb of muzzle energy. I...
I had an all-weather Ruger 77 Hawkeye in 338 Wm that I took to Montana that I all most sent to J.E.S. to have it rebored to 375 H&H till I figured out why it wasn't shooting.
Nice find Fotis. If it doesn't shoot in the factory stock get a H&S Precision stock with the full metal bedding block to...
I have feeders on my deck about 10-12' from the door and watch these guys go crazy over a hand full of peanuts that the Wife likes to put out.
I also have a limb I drilled holes in to stuff with a seed and peanut butter mixture which attracts eastern Bluebirds and woodpeckers along with every...
I just saw over on Weatherby that Wayne Lapier has stepped down/ retired as president of the NRA after 47yrs.
Sounds like a good idea since all the trouble he caused with his girl friend.
Well let me see now. Lots of family love.
And prayers that my wife's and my health will be better in the new year. The last four months have been very trying for my wife and me.
There must have been a high alert since all weekend and Christmas day the boys in blue were keeping high-altitude cover over DC and Camp David.
They didn't have to land to refuel since they had a tanker in the air for refueling. The contrails had some interesting shapes.
Thanks for the info Paul.
My brother worked in one of the labs on the base and helped to design the herbicides used in Vietnam. The base still has an area that is in the super fund clean up plan. The dummies buried the junk in steel drums which leaked and contaminated the ground water.
They...
Though I can't prove it but I live near a military installation that worked on developing defoliant chemicals for use in Vietnam and chemicals to seed the clouds to produce rain and to keep it from raining back in the 1960's.
They played havoc with the weather during the summer months and it...
