That should be a nice piece to add to your collection.
I never had any formal training with a shot gun either and started shooting with my Grandfathers single shot New England 12ga. I would fill soda cans with rocks and throw them up in the air holding the gun in my left hand and shoot at them...
Nice looking 629s.
I have owned several but could never manage the recoil from full loads and the trigger guard would beat up my fingers when the pistol would recoil. Had a Ruger Super Black Hawk flat top that I traded for a top end compound bow that I shot very well and still regret trading it...
Years ago I watched a gun Smith install choke tubes in a shotgun barrel. He would cut several inches off the barrel to get rid of the factory choke. He would then expand the barrel to get a straight surface too ream and thread.
Be aware that there will be a bulge in the barrel at the back of...
If you have a jitter bug check and see if they are live. If the kids didn't disconnect them at their end you could be getting feed back even if you turn off the main breaker. I would turn off the main breaker any way before turning a screw driver in the box.
Hey DrMike how about send it to me on a lend lease plan. You send it to me and I'll lease it back to you.:ROFLMAO:
Cabin fever is driving me crazy. o_O
Maybe could've of should of mowed last week since now the April showers have come AND grass has already jumped 6inches. The mower deck has been serviced and is ready for install. Just the tractor loader is easier to use with the deck off and I dug out a flowering bush with a 4' base and loaded...
Mine was a Winchester M43. I stuck a 3-9 Bushnell on it and killed more ground hogs and other game than I can remember.
The one gun I regret selling, it was my first center fire rifle and reloaded all my ammo for it.
Serra used to make bullets just for the Hornet which was .223" bore diameter...
It sure looks like it. This stuff is native to South Africa Europe and Asia. So how did it get here?
It is also herbicide resistant which explains why the roundup isn't doing it's job. What is used in South Africa to control it is unavailable in the USA ( go figure ). I guess I'll have to search...
I hear yeah JD.
Someone mentioned 2-4-D which I tried last fall when I couldn't find roundup and the thistle laughed at me and grew like I had pored fertilizer on it. I never could get 2-4-D to work on anything.
Thanks for the response.
I don't think I'm mixing it too strong but just adding enough to make up for the extra water that goes into the sprayer before you can get the water turned off. These pictures were taken 5 days after it was sprayed. I would have thought it would have been burnt to the...
These are pictures from plants that were sprayed last week with round up that I mixed an once stronger than the directions called for. Though the leaves have dried up the flowers are still active and producing seed. The stuff will take over an area and smoother already established grasses.
