Well, the digital version finally showed up but for some reason only 14 pages will download. The good news is the 14th page is the last page of Guy’s story! Standby everyone....

    1911 Kimber

Guy, if I remember right, 24 years ago you were packing a 1911 that was issued by your department. When did they go away from that for their issue? We still have the option to carry what we want and there are still a few single stacks getting toted around. Not sure if you remember...

    35 Rem on the bench.

I fully expect to see a deer fall to that gun this coming fall. Love to see how well the older guns shoot!!

    One make of rifle only?

I would not want to give up my lever action Marlins, especially when I found 37 220 grain Hornady Flatpoints for my .375 Winchester at a flea market today!! I'm good for 37 more shots...

    One make of rifle only?

Guy, it could be very easy to just have one manufacturer for your hunting needs. Even though I have several guns from different manufacturers it would be easily done to switch to one or downsize to one. My Ruger rifles come to mind, having a 77 bolt action in .35 Whelen, then a couple of...

    Gemsbok

I would love to see them again. Here's mine from 6 years ago this month. Taken with a 7x57 and a 160 grain Accubond. I know it doesn't show it well but it's one of my favorite photos.

    Rising cost of hunting:

Yep, I think Montana is only going to happen every few years anymore. There are still hunting trips I'd like to take my daughters on but that doubles or even triples the price of tags. Pretty hard to swallow 2 grand for 3 deer tags.

    Joy of simple reloading

I hate to admit it but other than weighing each charge that's pretty much how I do it. I do clean my brass and primer pockets and trim the brass here and there, but I'm not a fanatic about it.

    Toning it down a bit

I've got mine dead on at 100 which will be more than adequate for my needs but with the 350 factory shooting as flat as it does a 200 yard shot, under the right circumstances, wouldn't be undoable.

    Rifle received

    Excellent job!!

    Toning it down a bit

I have a really accurate, but stout load for my .450 Marlin using the Remington 405 grain bullet. My guide gun doesn't wear a scope so the gun isn't very heavy and quite frankly the load isn't very pleasant to shoot. I dropped down a bit in the powder charge and now have a load that doesn't...
