I purchased my wife a Ruger LCP Max 380. We haven't been out for her to shoot it yet, but I know I sure like it. It's small and light and 13 + 1 is not too shabby for such a small pistol. I've probably put 300 rounds through it without a glitch. It shoots pretty darn nice for such a little...
IMR 7828SSC is what I am using in my 280AI shooting 140 gr. Partitions or Accubonds. Both group great. Partitions chrono at 3230 fps and the Accubonds at 3186fps.
Guy I've had Schnees Hunter II boots for years and have really liked them. I sold my Schnees because my feet had grown enough and my arch flattened to wear my boots were just a bit uncomfortable. Always jamming the toes. Loved them though.
I haven't been successful yet but a couple days ago a good friend not only called in a coyote, but he called a large male wolf also! The wolf weighed 103 pounds!!
I recently was gifted at Christmas time a wonderful gift by my lovely bride. She got me a pair of HOFFMAN THINS PRO SERIES CLAW LUG 14" pac boots. I've been out wolf hunting with them a couple times now and I am thrilled with these pacs.
1. Nice heavy leather in the boots with triple stiching...
I'm with Guy. An unwounded animal at 600 yards I would not take the shot. Now if I hit it at a closer distance and still didn't make the best shot, any chance I got to put another bullet into an already wounded animal, I would take in a heart beat.
My son has a Ruger MKII in 6mm Remington. I sold the factory walnut stock and put a Boyds nutmeg wood laminate stock on the rifle. Before the stock was put on I had my gunsmith pillar and glass bed the stock and work his magic on the trigger. It's been a real shooter with 90 gr. E-tips...
I've been searching for 25-06 brass for a while. Found some Nosler brass here locally but it was listed for $120.00. Are they insane? Same thing with 6mm Remington brass. Remington and Winchester have been busy making sure that the 6.5 ManBun (Creedmoor) is out there on shelves. Hornady...
They are trying to get wolves put back on the ESA again as endangered and they are still fighting Montana to keep grizzly bears from being removed from the ESA.
Schnees Hunter II size 10 pack boots for sale. Great boots but they no longer fit my feet. I purchased brand new Schnees liners ($50.00) for the boots and put new laces and leather tongue protectors on them. Asking $120.00 and I'll pay shipping. New the boots cost $379.00.
That's a goregous rifle and one to certainly pass on to your kids when it's time. Couldn't have picked a better caliber and glad you stuck with the 30-06!
You could tape off the antlers when you were done and spray the skull with a clear matt spray finish to maybe highlight the burn area. I think it would make more contrast. Just a thought and I could be completely wrong.
