What a beautiful rifle Guy! Way to go. Great cartridge also even though I'm really a 30-06 guy for my BIG cartridge game. I like the
4.5-14x40mm Leupold with the B&C reticle. That would be a great scope on that rifle. JD338's choice for the 3-15x42mm Leupold is super also. I...
Just think if Remington put a 1-8 twist in a 6mm Remington with a medium length action at about 3.00" inches of magazine length. A person wouldn't need the 6mm Creedmoor, 243, or any of the rest of the lot.
I'd like to get 50-100 rounds more loaded up for each of my rifles and my son's rifles. We shoot ONE load in each rifle so hopefully this will be doable.
Plan on shooting it a couple times when you arrive and making any adjustment then. It shoots like a house afire so you should have no trouble making a couple corrections when you arrive. I feel that's the best way to make sure you are on target.
Show us your great pictures and love to see the kids out with mom and dad trapping. I haven't trapped since High School and I miss doing it. I do love to call coyotes though and I'd love to get a wolf that way. Heading out in a couple days to see if I can call one in.
I'm a member of a group...
On my (now my sons) Remington 600 Centennial model I've never actually torqued the screws but have just had them nice and snug. The 6mm Remington shoots very well in that rifle. I have not purchased one of these yet but am seriously considering it so that nothing happens to the original...
I started hunting with a Remington Model 600 Centennial in 6mm Remington. I used it for years and years and now it belongs to my son Jeff. He took his first antelope and deer with that rifle. It shoots really well with the rib and of course it's been left on the rifle as it is the Centennial...
I'm pretty happy with the bullets list right now but I sure would like to see something new made BEHIND the bullet! That being NOSLER starting to make some excellent quality Nosler 6mm Remington brass! That's it for me and for the other 6mm Remington fans out there.
6MM REMINGTON
I think the 6.5-06 would be a fun and effective cartridge for a lot of uses on game and targets. Just about anything done on the 30-06 is worthwhile to have. 25-06 brass is easy to find and simple to neck up in size. I say go for it. When I built a custom rifle it was one of the...
I've hunted with a 6mm Remington since I was 12 years old. Shot my first deer and antelope with that cartridge and a LOT of game since with it also. Fantastic cartridge that doesn't deserve to die on the vine. I keep promoting it and pestering Nosler to start making 6mm Remington ammo and...
