I recently purchased a Model 600 Magnum in 6.5mm Rem Mag. My question is, with their plastic trigger guard what should the guard screw torque setting be? I want to check it and don't want to over torque and possible crack it.
On my (now my sons) Remington 600 Centennial model I've never actually torqued the screws but have just had them nice and snug. The 6mm Remington shoots very well in that rifle. I have not purchased one of these yet but am seriously considering it so that nothing happens to the original floor plate plus it might help with accuracy although that doesn't seem to be a problem.
