45 Grains of RL 22 at .010 off the lands in my Model 70 Featherweight was 3,140 fps/average and .7" with 95 Grain Ballistic Tips. No pressure signs but that's way up there.

I shoot 130s in my Winchester Model 70, 270 Winchester. They are 0.090" off the lands to 3.36 so they will function in my magazine. Still shoot really well that deep. Most of the time .7"-1" if I do my part. Hope this helps. You will not be disappointed. They are way tougher than everyone...
Thanks! I load the 130 Ballistic Tip, and have for years, you are right, that 130 seems like the sweet spot for the 270, just might try to load some of these for a light deer load for a first year hunter.
Thanks Dan!
Has anyone tried loading these? I was thinking about trying some for a light deer load for my kids as a first deer cartridge. Hornady makes a 120 Grain SST but would like to stick to Nosler and think the 110 would be an awesome little bullet.
A friend has the standard size one, I am looking at this one which is larger but wondering if its too big. Curious if anyone has experience with this?

Washington State used to have the same rule, but recently changed it to "Negligently discharging from, over or across a road." If there are cars or people, its a no-no, but if nobody is around and you can safely do it, its fine. Hard to believe Washington State made a rule/law that makes sense...
