    .338 RUM

Yep, you can always go the 338 Edge route. 338 Edge uses the 300 RUM brass and can achieve more FPS than the 338 RUM. For some reason the 338 RUM has the shortest brass length of the RUMs. I believe the 7, 300, & 375 use the same length of brass. I also think the 300 RUM brass is easier to get...

    .338 RUM

After browsing the Remington website, I don't see any rifles currently in that caliber. Start with local dealers, try Gun Broker (got my 375RUM - new from there). Just an FYI, brass for the RUM calibers is getting hard to find. I've been buying whatever SPS lists Nosler 338RUM brass.

    30-06 Nosler 180 Partitions, H4350 or Reloder 22

Just throwing this out there, but H414 gave me excellent results in my 30-06 using 180ABs. The load is 55.5gns, Fed 210M primers, Nosler brass, COL of 3.39".

Let's see those long-range hunting rifles!

Here are my LR rifles. From L to R, 7mmRUM (150ET), 300RUM (200AB), 338RUM (250AB), 375RUM (260AB): I am considering a thumbhole stock for the 338RUM though, dang thing kicks like a large mule, needs a little more weight to it, plus the XCR stock is not much for eye candy.

Looks like I'm switching to the Sierra pro hunter.

Primarily elk, but it has taken a couple of hogs and a muley.

Looks like I'm switching to the Sierra pro hunter.

My '06 didn't like 165ABs very much. Went to 180ABs an WOW, what a difference. It loved them.

    375 Rifle Weight

I have a 375RUM, it's the Remington LSS model (laminate stock, stainless). It is a tad heavy, not quite as much as my thumbhole stocked 300RUM, but I find it just as easy to shoot as my 300RUM. My 375RUM is pushing 260ABs at 2990 FPS.

    300 ultramag

My 300RUM has become pretty much my main rifle. I like how it feels and it's easy to shoot, but does get a little heavy at the end of the day though. Wow, looking at picture I took, I've had it 9 years now.....

    338 Ultra Mag

I'm going to develop a load next spring using Nosler 338RUM brass and 250ABs. Managed to get 200 pieces of their 2nd brass through SPS. Dang spendy stuff.....

What's the straight dope on Accubond Long Range performance?

Lot of good info here. I've contemplated getting some 30 Cal 190 ABLR 2nds from SPS to try in my 300RUM, but I keep thinking why???? The 200ABs have performed exceptionally well, every animal they have hit has gone down quickly. Why mess with something that works? Plus, where I hunt and shot all...

    .270Weatherby VS .27 Nosler

I think I would have to buy a 27 Nosler rifle if they made one. All the others would be basically replicating what my ultramags can do.
