I just bought a Remington 700 classic 35 Whelen, still new in the box. I have 3 other 700's all stainless, and they are all great shooters moa or better. I had been looking for a 35 whelen for a while, do any of you have any experience with this particular rifle? Fwood

Alaska Sept. 5, 2011 one shot quartering away hit the last rib then, liver, heart, one lung and the stoped in the off side sholder. 250 gr partition from a 338 rum.

I load 78grs of H-4831 with nosler 165s at about 3190 fps. This is the load off the side of the can from the late 90's it groups 7/8 at 100 yards. It will kick some, but it is flat with a 0 point blank out to 300 with 2in high at 100. This may be a bit to fast for accubonds on large game like...
