Thanks! Gavin is a fan of the 44 as well, but he's so busy doing his precision rifle builds he doesn't play with the revolvers much. That leaves the subject open for me! :)

I am surprised that the Blackhawk Serpa with that finger-release retention device is still on the market. Too many of these incidents. At least there's no blood in this photo. You can see that his fly is open as someone had just checked for injury. I understand that these holsters have been...
Had a little fun this morning. Took a break from handloading and focused (ha!) on photographing my 629 revolver, some freshly handloaded ammo and of course the Sourdough Pancake holster. With these loads, a 240 gr Berry's "target hollow point" at about 1067 fps the S&W is fun to shoot and...
This one was way up above town near an irrigation reservoir. It's about a 4-mile hike into that lake from where I parked. Nice hike, almost all uphill on the way in. He was with a bachelor group of about a half dozen bucks. Color in this photo is a bit off, but I got that sorted out later.
Taken here in central Washington near the Entiat river. They'd been down to the river to drink and were headed back up into the hills when I came across them.

Mav lives to hunt birds. He doesn't understand why we only hunt them a few months every year. So... He hunts them all year, even if I don't shoot them.

Ya, pointing the eagles on or near their nest was hilarious... But why not? It's a big bird and Mav knows I like to stop and point the camera at them and click away. He gets pretty excited when I haul out the camera with the big telephoto lens. Or the shotgun... :)
Of Maverick? Yes. He's a rescue dog, his first family gave up on him. When I met him he was wearing a muzzle to keep him from biting anyone. He hated adult men. All he needed was someone with patience. We became good buddies quickly. :) There have been a few rough moments and he's still an...
Thanks. Believe me, there are a LOT of photos that get culled instead of showing them. For instance with this beaver - it was still pretty dark in the morning when dog and I came across him. I started taking photos in the low light, even though I knew that it might be too dark for good results...
What we're doing guys, is processing the brass on the Mark 7.
It is being loaded on a Dillon XL 750. So for this project, the Mark 7 is just taking the pain out of processing a 55 gallon drum of 223 brass.
Not the kind of thing most hobby reloaders, like me, need. But totally interesting...
We're doing 223's. The Mark 7 can do about 2,000 an hour.
Not sure on your powder dispenser, but using spherical powder, it does just fine.
We have one at the shop, and it's pretty amazing. But, like I said, it's not my project. Just amazes me every time I watch it doing what it does...
I think we've hit 20,000 cases processed on it now. Started with a 55 gallon drum full. Not sure how many that is...
It's a big job. We're going to have some blasting ammo when done! :)

Ol' Wally doesn't usually haul himself up onto the bank and pose for me, but he did this morning while I was walking Maverick along the Columbia River:

Washington bulls, only about 10 miles from my home! This mid-winter photo was before sunrise in very low light, sorry for the poor resolution. Was on private property my friends own. This group of bulls winters there every year. I keep trying for the tag... :)
Very steep odds against...
