The Accubond ammunition is shooting 3400 fps and the Partition at 3380. The impact velocity for the AB needs to be between 1600fps and 3000fps. While the Partition needs to be between 1800fps and 3200fps. What I am trying to say is that the PT is more forgiving at the upper end. I would...
Steve4102 is correct. If we sell our products for less than our retailers, then they would have a hard time justifying why they bother stocking our product. We want to support our retailers by offering product service and if we happen to make a sale in process, all the better.
Nosler is currently producing 325wsm ammunition. Unfortunately we cannot produce enough to supply our testing, rifle customers and retails sales currently. For the present time, we are only offering WSM ammunition with our custom rifles. We hope to have production increased to allow for plenty...
I also agree that Nosler needs a .458 bullet. The 458 Winchester Magnum with a Partition would dominate African game along with moose brownies etc. Now if we can just get it done!
Urban legend no more! The jacket is a 140gr shortened up. The 120BT is a tough little critter gitter. The 7mm-08 with a 120BT is the right medicine for coyotes, goats, deer etc. I would not hesitate on a black bear as well.
I love it! Fantastic pictures and the video is great. Animals beware! Thanks for the Nosler manual plug. Yes, I did notice even though it was subtle.
I have had great luck with the RL-15 powder. I am loading it in a Kimber classic. I am actually using some left over Solid Base bullets with this load but shooting a .3-.5 routinely.
Correct, the thirty calibers are the number one sellers. Out of the the diameters listed, here are the most popular weights.
.308 - 180gr.
.284 - 160gr.
.257 - 115gr.
JD338 has it correct that the reloading manual should be out this September. Ramshot powders will be added and so will a big batch of new cartridges. All of the WSM and WSSM cartridges along with the ultra mags and SAUM cartridges will be listed. There are many more cartridges that will be added...
The seconds brass sold in the Pro Shop are trimmed, chamfered, sized and de-burred. They may not be weight sorted. There is a chance that they are out of weight specifications. There may be a cosmetic issue like dis colorization, a scratch or a dent as well. The brass is still top notch and...
Spike elk, Buck and a handgun doe tag for me. Should make for a fun year. I wonder what brand of bullets I should use?........................not a word JD338
Pitfall,I am surprised that you are not seeing better accuracy with the combination you are using. I would recommend that you back down on your powder charge. At Nosler we had better luck with a charge of 40.5 grains than we did at the max with Viht N-140. Give that a try and see what happens...
I also shoot the 50gr Ballistic Tips from my 22-250, but I use Viht N-140 powder. I also neck size for this rifle. Seems to really be saving my brass, not to mention the awesome accuracy that I have been getting.
I cannot guarantee that all of the brass is held to .001, but so far that is the way it has been. The volume of our cases is less than Winchester because of the thickness.
