Did anybody get any good tags this year.I got lucky 1st season bull, buck and either sex deer tag so i shoud have a full freezer this year

Congratulations on your tags.

No bear tag this year in MI.
Just applied for Elk. Its all I need for my MI Grand Slam which is deer bear elk and turkey.

All I got was a Walla Walla buck tag..I didn't draw, doe, antelope, bull elk, or sheep...

My wife also drew a walla walla buck tag..

My dad only drew a walla walla buck tag..My dad put in for everything you can put in for like me, plus goat, all to no avail..

Oregons about worthless anymore, IMO...

I"ve got 8 points for elk and still no big bull tag...

3 points for a doe and still no draw for a doe tag...

I put in for 2nd season spike, mt emily, as my 2nd choice and didn't draw that even!!! Thats about as screwed as you can get..Up untill last year, you didn't even have to put in for 2nd season spike, mt emily..Not to mention, last year they gave out waaaaay more tags then people even applied for, so your pretty much gaurunteed, I dont get it...Musta been a chit load that put in for 2nd season this year is all I gotta say..

Pretty much the same results with everyone in my family, we only drew deer tags, with the exception that everyone else we know drew 2nd season spike..My aunt was lucky once again (no surprise there) shes already drawn her sheep and goat in Oregon, the uncle drew goat a few years ago..Anyways, she got her buck tag, orchards which is additional deer tag, basically anterless, but in this unit you can shoot whitetail buck/doe. She also drew her antelope tag...

I dont see how you can get so lucky all the time...

If you wanna rifle hunt antelope in Oregon, your gonna be waiting about 10-12 years, thats pathetic... All the money you spent putting in for the stupid tag over the years, you coulda already bought a tag in Wyoming, and went and killed an antelope already...

JD338- I am in MT and the tag is for lower rock creek. Its a really good unit. 190 rams are always a possibility with lots of 180+ rams relative to the number of sheep. There are only 4 tags for the unit so it wont be crowded.

Oregon needs to give out a few more antelope tags theirs alot of them in oregon. At this rate I have 5 or 6 years left. I'v be lucky to draw a first season bull in the heppner unit with 3 points and drew my buck tag for the same unit 6 years in a row and my other deer tag which is a willamette unit etheir sex tag. The season last for 6 months it starts september 1st and ends feburary 28 so it should be pretty easy to get a nice buck during the rut :grin:

i drew an any antelope rifle tag with 3 points for oregon, just set your sights lower. and a second choice any bull first season tag for interstate unit. i'll be scouting for future deer hunts on both hunts. deer hunting is much more important than elk or antelope.

Only 8 points ? Trade ya states about any day of the week.
Been trying to draw a ranching for wildlife tag for deer and gave up last year with 12 points. Behind the curve, so blew 8 of the remaining this year and drew buck tags for another area ( only takes 4 ).
Elk......wanna hunt primo areas.....14+
Still no sheep tag this year either....gettin close on that one though

Have you hunted the Willamette Unit before? As the hunt stretches from basically Eugene to Portland there are a lot of opportunities, especially with time, but much of the ground is private. I've hunted it a few times but haven't drawn the last two years. Would enjoy hearing your experiences...

Results not in for California draw on elk, x-zone deer or antelope. Monday will be the big day(or not). Idaho over the counter elk and deer tags are in my safe and waiting. If you think Oregon is hard to draw to try adding a few million to the draw competition. Besides the blacktail we can hunt over the counter don't get nearly as big as mule deer or Columbia blacktail. But the anticipation is always the fun part.

TBASTION This is my first year my wife and I got this tag it took 2 points and being able to hunt for 6 months and during the rut is great so geting a nice buck sould not be problem. My wife is from that area and we have places to hunt.

Washington deer, elk and bighorn sheep tags all applied for... Waiting...
