I have been using federal premium 215 large rifle mag primers exclusively. I can only find CCI mag primers for my 300 win mag and 270 WSM. Ive heard the pressures are higher and not as reliable as some other primers. Any feed back on CCI primers for my 270 WSM and 300 win mag is appreciated

old model 70 300 win mag,,,, 200 # accubond "0" head space length is 3.605"......my magazine maximum length is 3.400"...SAMI is 3.340"...I have tryed some at 3.380" (.020 under max magazine length) and get a little better results than at 3.350"....Do small head space changes make much...

Abs have worked fine , though they will destroy a bbous shoulder with a bad shot,,,ust thought the Cts might be easier on the barel for working up the loads..the best factory ammo for killing was TBBC and best factory for accuracy was ABs,,,,,thanks for the help...I'll work with the ABs and...

I hunt moose and caribou most years...always shot 180 ABs or Parts...loaded 200 gr ABs and 168 C/Ts with 4360 and w 760 ....mixed results but 1.75 " ave grs on both...really curious about the CTs hunting performance vs Abs

Ive hunted accubonds for years,,,300 win mag. just started re-loading and experimenting with the C/T bullets thinking the # of rounds through my old model 70 might have less wear on barrel with the C/Ts...any thoughts on performance differnce hunting with the C/Ts vs accubonds...thanks...Rich
