The 7 MM Practical is sensible choice than a 28 Nosler in my opinion. Your giving up no more than 80-125 fps in velocity. With higher ballistic coefficient bullets in 7MM bore, anything the 28 Nosler do, the 7MM Practical can do just as well. My 195 grain Berger EOL load at over 2900 fps, will...
Went to shoot Ultra Long Range Match near Barstow Sunday with a dozen other guys form Arizona, Nevada and Northern California. This is a monthly shoot sponsored by big name company like Vortex, Cutting Edge Bullet and Snipertac to name a few. Three 40"X 40" target were placed at varying...
As some of you may remember, I'd posted my 7MM Practical Longrange Hunter build in here a couple months ago. The build was delayed due to the problem I've encountered with the rifle. After ironing some issues I've had with the TL action, I finally able to developed the load for the rifle...
I too build a Multi use rifle in 6 BR on a Remington 700 action. It is however a magazine feed. It has 30" Brux. I used McMillan ATH stock for this rifle.
My daughter shooting this rifle for the first time printed this 5 shot group at 110 yards.
The stock is pretty stable. It's carbon fiber and very light but very rigid. Stocky recommend to have it bedded even though it has pillar. I planned on bedding it later after the season or maybe not. The rifle shoots tight the way it is so I might leave it alone.
The ballistic of the 195 Berger...
Hitting target at 2000 yards is not easy. I shot at that distance with my 338 Lapua Ackley mind you and the degree of difficulty is compounded when shooting smaller caliber like the 6.5 Creedmore. It can be done but the probability of hitting the target is stacked against the shooter. It will be...

Well she's finally done. I hit a snag there for a while when the action started giving me problem therefore I was not able to developed loads for it. I finally got it ironed out and the rifle is ready for the upcoming hunt.
So much for a 7lb. rifle. This will bring the weight of my newest build to around 8 lbs. Leupold did it's homework on this one. I love everything about this scope. It's well thought out.
With the rifle nearing completion, time to develop loads. Can't wait to try these two javelins to see which one will work with my rifle. I'm expecting 2875 to 2900fps + with these bad boys.
I'm not seeing pressure sign on that primer. I necked down a once fired 300 Win Mag Federal Gold Medal Match case and seat the Berger 195 EOL. It seems like the case doesn't need to be neck turn.
I'm in a process of building a light carrying hammer. I already have component on hand and just waiting for the action to arrive from Pennsylvania. I settled on 7-300 for practicality. I was planning on 28 Nosler chambering or 7MM Remington Magnum but ultimately settled on the 7MM-300 Winchester...
