    Encouraging words

In recent calls to our State members in regards to the gun control Bills before whatever (can't remember offical name at the moment) Committee it is here in MN., I had a conversation with a one our Liberal Rep's aids. In one of his questions to me as to why I felt the need for assault type/semi...

    Is this True and Correct?

Then too, ever notice when we see protest or what not on the news that tend to go disruptive if not violent one way or another, come from the left demonstator's. They certainly don't practice what they preach regardless.

    7mm Mauser 160 PT and RL19

I agree Charlie, that it would. And even a good sized bull I would, within certain limitations imo.

Cast in heavy weights at the BlackHawk Colt velocity is your best friend imo.

    7mm Mauser 160 PT and RL19

Yep, yep and yep. Makes a difference on data from the older Mauser's compared to what a modern production receiver, without a doubt. If I'm not mistaken, I think it was P.O. Ackley's favortie improved parents as well. Just saying there's ways around the original Mauser rifle pressure...

    Velocity Guesstimate

I have found, once you start approaching max for a particular rifle, I will find about 2 nodes it likes. Just above starting, and just below the rifle's max.. Usually in mine, a 1/2-1 gr. on the top and bottom ends, depending on case capacity to begin with. But once I push much beyond that...

    Good school shooting

If more of that were to happen, we would see such incidents and the rates of such would drop like a rock. Sounds like a good shot to me also. If it were not, I would think the AP story (which I don't think is telling all) would be much different. The too, it aint on the national media that I...

Why have multiple rifles of same caliber?

I don't know how I missed this earlier,,,,,,anyhow. I not sure of how someone else, 5 of same caliber or even same chambering is rationalized,,,,but. I have 2 in the same caliber, but can see end use's for more. I can rationalize more than I have in 1 load per rifle, under different parameters...

This is Getting Out of Hand

I swear, the liberals do nothing more than spend every waking moment coming up with ways to destroy the America as our Forefather's founded and visioned. They just aren't happy, if they aren't treading on life freedom and the pursuit of happiness.

    H380?

Ah yes, that is right,,thanks for the correction Chet. I know my memory isn't what it use to be. I should have just looked in one of the older manuals in the load room to have double checked. I know it's stated there. A little too lazy at times, I guess  I will do better to avoid such in...

    22-250 bullet choice?

I'm in the camp of the twist issue's on anything over 55 grain in a 12" twist normally. However, MV can have some effect on that to a point. Then too, the 64 gr. BSB has a different nose profile that may work. I believe Nolser recommends 12" on the 60 gr. PT. I can't remember the twist JD338...

The clowns in St Paul are at it again...response from my Rep

I couldn't stand to watch that today. I knew what was it going be before it happened as we all know the BS propaganda. I did spend 4-5 hours last Fri. calling the proposed Gun Bill Committee Members that will decide whether it comes to the floor however. I was shocked at the Party balance of the...
