I'm wondering about a QL list of powder's for a Remington 700 in 300RUM with a 26 inch barrel and ABLR 210 gr. It would make for an interesting comparison to the above QL I think.
I hope this isn't seen as hijacking the thread. I don't mind deleting this and starting a new one if needed...
RL-17 worked fine for me and no need for a drop tube I can almost reach 2800fps with a 22 inch barrel and less powder than some other powders.

I've been very impressed with performance of the ABLR. I've seen the 210gr from a 300 win mag against a deer and 150gr from a 7mm-08 take a deer and coyote. In 14 years years working trauma and in hunting, one elk, 6 bucks and 5 does, I've never seen that kind of damage along the bullet path...
I am using a Nosler 120gr. BT sitting on top of 44.3gr of ramshot big game. I am not sure of the velocity but it seems I chrono'd it at 3050. Seems really fast for that set up so I have always wanted to retest it. There is very little kick. My Daughter took a Mule deer doe with it in 2016...
I am using RL-17 in my 30-06, pushing 190gr ABLR out of my 22in savage barrel at 2768fps. It seems to be working brilliantly. My best groups are .6in at 100 yards. I have only punched holes in paper so far but I hope to try it on elk this weekend. I imagine that it will work well in the 280AI...
I just got my results from loading my 190gr ABLR. I used the QL info to select a powder. I chose RL-17 because it wasn't a compressed load and had 100 powder burn, and I could find it. I found Norma also but I preferred the compressed load and complete burn.
I got 2768 out of my Savage...
I bought mine on Midway. I signed up for a notification when they came in. The first time I waited about 20min and they were sold out. The second time I was on it right away and didn't dilly dally. Good Luck.
Thanks Dwh7271! Being new I now realize I should have listed barrel length. 20 in savage 11xp youth rifle. The info posted is fantastic! Thanks again!
This forum is an amazing reference! I will post how the results go.
@Gunner46, I already have the 150gr bullets and couldn't purchase any 140gr locally when I tried. He has done pretty well at 450 yds. We always need more practice though. I understand the hesitation to take long shots. I hesitate myself. My last deer was taken at 460yds with one shot. We...
I apologize if this is to be found somewhere else. I am looking to load my son's 7mm-08 with some long range accubonds for elk this fall. I have been most impressed with the data for other calibers but I can't seem to find the same quality of information for his rifle. If anyone can help I...
