I ordered a new stock for Mountain Tactical (Tikka performance center in Montana USA) along with an aluminum bolt shroud as well, the new stock is fitted with a limbsaver recoil pad, as well as a stainless steel recoil lug as well. Thanks Jason and Lynn McHann for your excellent service and help...
I just recently bought another Pelican 1750 hard case for my travels, awesome case as I had got mine with the upgraded higher density center foam, BUT most of all is the Pelican products company all the way out in California USA!..Man there customer service is the best I have yet to see...
Thanks Scotty :) ..yeah sometimes I get the itch to experiment my brother  ..I never even tried the partitions, (although I love them), I still have about 90 or so loaded sciroccos , after todays final range session, my load for the 300 win mag well be the swift scirocco and the 260gr...
Thats plenty good enough right there :) ..I shoot the 260gr Accubond out of my 375 H&H and it does .5 to .75" no need to mess with it, atleast for now
Lou
When I had my 30/06 I also shot the 165gr bullets, worked real well, man now there's so many choices, at the moment I'm shooting the 180gr swift scirocco out of my 300 win mag, I have plenty of them, maybe I should just stick with them instead of the partition? I'm kinda stumped on this :? I...
Thinking of trying these 2 bullets for black bear and moose this fall, I'm leaning towards the 165gr nosler partition for up to and including moose, any opinions would be great.
I think the 165gr is a perfect blend having the speed of the 150gr and knock down power of the 180gr.
Thanks for...
First off, welcome back buddy :) ..I myself am still recovering from an accident 3 years ago and know what your going through. Take that 375 and hammer something with it! :) ..Heck I did (y) ..It's going to be my back up this year for bear and moose, going with my 300 win mag this year for both...
To bad Trevor, my Air tech for my Tikka fits just like the factory (hockey puck) pad not sticky at all, the felt recoil on my 300 win mag now feels more like shooting a 30/06, I like this pad, with that being said, if Pachmayr made a pre fit pad for the Tikka T3, I would have gone that rout...
Hi Gerry, here's some brass for you pal :) ..well go in the mail on Saturday (y) ..Man I was just in my early 20's when I shot these pal! 8)
Enjoy brother (y) ..Lou :)
Should be nice :) ..I wiped my pad down with an Armor-All wipe, it makes the texture of the pad a lot smoother without any of that tacky feel (y)..Good pad for sure!
Lou
Yes Lynn, that's what I was referring to, I was thinking of changing my bolt shroud to an aluminum one on my Tikka T3 hunter, but I really don't think I have to, many Tikka shooters have done so, we'll see?..I really don't anticipate any problems with the polymer bolt shroud.
Lou (y)
Hi fellas, I've always wondered about this, and came across this video, very interesting I must say, I've always found polymer to be just as strong myself,Lou :)

I'll be using my 375 H&H loaded with 260gr accubonds, and my 300 win mag with 180gr scirocco's,most likely going to use the 300 winnie though.
The .375 H&H
and the 300 win mag
Good luck to all :)
Lou
Those Scirocco's look really good too, every one that has been tested in our bullet tests section has done very well. One of our members from Alaska had a 180 gr Scirocco penetrate a brown bear lengthwise and exit from a 300 RUM which is exceptional.
Hi Gerry, I have about 90 loaded rounds of...
