My intent was to go see some new country in Namibia. Shoot the Namibian specialties and a couple days of bird hunting then visit etosha before I came home.
When my wife realized I was serious and had the down payment in hand, she insisted she go again and could we please go back to the place...
one of the beauties of South Africa is the common practice of renting a rifle from your ph. So if your stuff gets lost you just rent the camp rifle and carry on-
I’ve given ammo to other hunters on the mountain (public land, general hunting season) before that lost or forgot or used up all...
I just now realized I never told this story. The four involved all tell it differently so I will summarize what I think happened.
It’s a long hike in and they had to cross some shale slides and one snow covered hillside. She was scared and nervous guts and the boys wanted to push on too fast...
3130 fps but I would love to go check that with my new Garmin chronograph. Sadly cold rain today. . . The rifle is a savage with a long, heavy barrel. My loads are built for accuracy first and velocity second

While there...
I work on an ambulance and transport the sickest of the sick. I’ve gotten all the vaccinations without complaint. I also take precautions as best we know how.
We are seeing an uptick in all sickness after all the big group holidays. My family all got it for the first time in early November...
Cougar in utah used to be a difficult tag to draw. Then in mid stream they opened it up to everyone-general open season.
They are about as protected as coyotes and jackrabbit now. So much for carefully managing populations for the benefit of the species! The rumor is that a legislator that...
