I couldn't get things to repeat and we're getting worse so I pulled the rifle apart checked bedding swapped a 3rd scope onto it. Then started to work with another powder.
I went on to H1000 found a charge of 74 was shooting pretty good and then started adjusting seating depth it's coming...
I thought that was pretty close as long as your velocity correlates to the charge weight being used. However if for instance your running 51 gr and getting 2600 the pressure will be the same as if your running say 55 and getting 2600 using the same powder and components.
For instance Scotty...
Is that really a word Doctor? "Funnily"? Your right Vince should have only had to pay like $250 for that!
Vince you will love that stock looks good. It says in the box you don't have to bed it. But from my experience you should. My 338 shot good for a while but got really inconsistent the more...
Exactly with these new magneto speeds sure is nice to load 5 or 6 shells on a spread of .5-1 gr each depending on case capacity to find the velocity and pressure then load 3 to shoot groups and work backwards. Way better than the way I used to do it with my other graph.
I think you might need a trip down here we can take you up to the snow in the Jeep drop you off and I'll come pick you back up when the snow melts. Then you can tell me when it stops snowing!!!
By the way I think it's snowing on Mt Lewis right now 43 and raining @ 4600 ft I wonder what it's...
Dissected
Took pliers a hammer chisel and punch to it trying to separate the core from the jacket. Bottom line it's not going to happen. It's definately welded to the jacket. The jacket tore before I could get the core to separate.
This is boring!!! Another perfect PT same load as the other two I posted didn't have a velocity went into the 7th jug. Was testing the other two with it and they slipped out the side. 258.9 gr retained with the core 210.7 without opened up to .591" and is really pretty.
2302 stopped in the 3rd 5 gallon bucket just a kinda typical cup and core in my book nothing special. Forgot the retained weight and expansion. Has a good mechanical lock though.
This is a real impressive bullet. I'll post details later but I'm sure it will do a fabulous job on game. 2268 for muzzle velocity and lots of space to run it harder. Was stopped in the 5th 5 gallon bucket
Really impressed by this bullet outta the Bee. 166.4 gr retained and opened to .665" 4-5 gallon buckets at 3425 gotta back it down just a touch but it should be awesome.
With a 300 yard zero 21" low @ 500 and around 2500fps no need for anything else in the Bee.
