I had to do the same with both of my 7mm-08 rifles. I tried the 120 gr and 140 gr BT but nothing worked. I went to the 150 gr BT and everything came together.

I have a 7600 in 30-06 and have no trouble with standard FL dies.

I never thought about trying them in my 7mm-08....may have to do that. Side note, I may spare 100 for you if you want them. I'll most likely trade you for some other Noslers that I need if you're fine with it.

I just came into 500 of these 150 gr 7mm spitzers. Am I right in assuming that I can use the #7 data for 150 gr bullets? I plan on using these in my 7mm Rem Mag and 280 Rem.

While at the range today, I found a bullet jacket that had been fire some time ago. It struck me as odd for having a "design" in the base. Any idea what this bullet may be? It is a .308 diameter bullet. It has what appears to be crosshairs or the zodiac sign on the base.

Nosler #5 lists the .338 Failsafe BC as .436 and the SD as .288. Hope this helps.

150's in my 7mm08 has the most accuracy with H414. 44.0 gr gets me right at 2700 fps in my 26" barrel Remington 700.

That Timney trigger fix is awesome in the 7600/870 style triggers. It will make a world of difference in your trigger.
