I could use 22 ARC QL simulations for the 75 and 88 gr. ELD Match bullets and another for the 80 gr. Berger VLD loaded to 2.250" at 52kPsi with a 24" barrel.
So far 28.0 gr. of CFE223 is pushing 80 grain bullets a little over 2800 fps, but haven't yet found a load that shoots as well as my 224...
Back in 2015 Dr. Mike posted this:

I recently watched "The Covenant" for the first time, and it brought the hurt back again.
Spineless politicians have kept those that supported the US troops and saved many of their lives living in fear or have been caught and executed by the Taliban.
I believe it is because the politicians fear...
Agreed, doubtful is a good assessment of the situation.
They can sell all the bullets of the current design they can make, so spending R&D funds on new niche bullet weights seems unlikely.
I just went to the Amazon website and don't see the discount offer.
Can you send the URL that you are directed to for the offer?
Thank you for the heads up!
I like the 200 gr. Hornady FTX for deer, but it's a little soft for elk.
IMR 3031 has delivered the highest velocity in my M-88 and the accuracy is more than reasonable.

This is out of my M700 with a 24" barrel.
Sub-MOA accuracy with velocities collected using my Labradar unit.
A long, long time ago I was testing my favorite 308 mid-range load in my 40XB match rifle with different primers. Groups were generally at or under an inch at 200 yards, until I tried some Winchester LR primers and the groups swelled to over 2 MOA.
Running the pressures of the 30-06 up to those for a 270 makes the 30-06 performance shine.
I can get the 180 NAB leaving a 22" barrel at ~2850 fps with several powders.
When it comes to hunting, I'm pretty much one load for the duration of hunt as reducing variables is important to me.
That's not to say that I only have one hunting load for a particular rifle, as different game often requires different bullet construction and weight.
This chambering came about when I mis-cut a 22-250 AI chamber on a 26" 9 twist barrel I had. It was a lemons to lemon-aid undertaking so to say.
I had a bag of 70 gr. RDF seconds that I decided to use for load development, as I was unable to find an accurate load for them in my 223 and 224...
Dr. Mike:
"What this President did to those who were our allies in Afghanistan is morally indefensible and criminal. I have no doubt that good people in State and in Defense are embarrassed for the diminished status of America. Good for Catherine for making her feelings clear."
Couldn't have...
