Think I know one of the reasons Winchester no longer chambers the RUMs :lol: Just over seven pounds and those rifles recoil like a mad mule!

I like the Newton's new look. Seems to be a very solid setup for chasing elk up and down those big hills.

Another FCD user! Started using them with the 10mm/40 S&W and 45-70. Have since used them with the 5.56 and 308 Win. The definitely help with smooth feeding in Semi auto pistols and I noticed my ES tighten up on the 308 and 45-70.

No worse than the possibility of five hunters from Virginia to Oregon and back in one truck this fall :shock:

Awesome results with that 225 AB! It's shooting great in the 338-375 Ruger and stoned two deer last year. Plan on using it this year if we draw tags for elk in Oregon.

Had it for almost two years and love that bag!

Scott, That looks like a heck of a good time! Really dig the "portable shooting bench". What do you think of the 17 Hornet? I've been fighting the urge to get a 17 of some sort. I think the 17 HMR would be the logical choice because ammo is easy to find but, kinda like the 17 WSM and really...

Went into the LGS this afternoon looking for H4895 and they had just about everything in one pounders except for H4895 and Varget. They have a bunch of Varget one pounders coming in next week! I picked up 8 pounds of Benchmark :mrgreen:

Sounds like it would be close to the 338-375 Ruger. The 25" 5R Bartlein on mine runs 250 SMKs at 2855 FPS and had them at 2980 FPS before hitting max. The hunting load is the 225 AB at 3065 FPS and had those at 3120 before hitting max.
