Glad to hear things are well with you. Hard to believe its been near 5 years already for me. Deer season was a bit slow this year saw very few deer after bow season. I did shoot a nice 300 lb + black bear in August Ontario hunt. I need to make more time for range club shooting. My gun room is...

What cartridge do you think deserves more love?

Hmm late to party I know I have agree with the 32 Win Spl and 35 Rem in lever guns. The urge for a quarter bore led me to the 25-45 Sharp's for something a little different in an AR. 325 WSM is a favorite that never caught on as well as 7mm WSM in bolts guns. My 260 Rem build seems to run just...

    Primers, primers, primers

I bought out an estate sale of all reloading supplies and equipment. Ended up with a lot of stuff I didn't want or need, but also had a good amount of primers and powders I'm glad to have. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

First kill of the season usually calms the nerves a bit for next one. Good job Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    setting up your scope

Mark answered my question with a scope level on board. I've never seen sure the Indian (me) was holding level without one. Except my long shooter's I don't put levels on my hunting rigs. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Burris Timberline 4.5-14

I have three of those on various rifles built when they were under the Short Mag line. I've been very happy with them. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Deer running after being hit?

I always prefer two holes for tracking purposes (innie & outie). If conditions aren't great for tracking (rain or last light) a neck shot on the point of the shoulder always anchors them. Neck roasts are in questionable condition but I've never tracked or lost a white tail...yet! Sent from my...

    Making head way

Beautiful job, I too like lot of bright white paint in my loading room. Sure helps these old eyes with the finer details. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Good neighbors.

Like you I rarely locked my detached pole barn until this past winter. Found someone had decided they needed my freezer beef and venison worse than I. Got me to thinking about what they could've and didn't steal, tools equipment and such of much greater value. Hmm? Sent from my SM-A205U using...

Little more work on the A-bolt.

It is a disappointment that components are in such short supply. Exhausting all load possibilities with a rifle is most of the fun for me anyway. Even with a decent supply a fella needs to be a little conservative. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    QuickLoad heads up.

I looked into the software yesterday and found it's only available on a CD. I haven't had a desktop computer or anything with a disc drive in years. Drat! Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

Hints and tips - Nosler RDF

My 260 Rem likes a max charge of H4831 under the 140 gr RDF. The 243 shows promise with the same powder and IMR 4451 under the 105 gr RDF, though I'm still working that load. Both heavy barreled long range rigs. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

Ready to load for 300 Win. Mag.

No advice here but sure looks like something in what you've assembled should work. Good luck Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk
