Just picked up two cans of the old Hercules Reloader 19 and 22. Anyone know how much this stuff would differ from the current Reloader 19 and 22 if any.
Anyone know why the 6.5 Creed is offered in two different twist rates,ie 1.8 and 1.7.7 in the Predator? Longer heavier bullets But seams like 1-8 works for a 160gr.
What DrMike said. I've used mine since the 80's and like it. Only suggestion would be if you load for something real big or real small get the adapter for regular shell holders. That will eliminate flipping or replacing the jaws. I recently started loading for a 45-70 and had to buy another set...
Just got a 1885 High Wall 45-70 and looking to get a inexpensive target load worked up. Missouri Bullet Co. has a coated 300gr bullet called the #2 Buff which .459 dia. wondering why its not .458 and if its ok to shoot in my rifle. Maybe because its lead is why its .459?

Got a new Glock 42 today as well as dies, brass etc. I have a lot of Rainier 115gr HP's that I was shooting in my 9 mm, did a search for 115gr, Win. Autocomp data and came up dry. I did find data for 100gr Autocomp 3.8 min/4.2 max and Power Pistol 4.2/4.6. Autocomp appears to be running 0.4gr...
This is the first pistol round I've loaded for and its plinking/practice ammo. With that said, dose this +/_ .003 variation really matter? Seems like I read somewhere that seating depth in some rounds can have major effect on pressure.
I'm loading 9mm Lugar using Hornady Custom dies and Rainier 115gr HP.I've trimmed all cases to .745 and trying to set COL at 1.150. Loaded rounds are coming out anywhere between 1.148 to 1.153. When I lower the round out of the seater/crimper the seater stem seems to be griping the bullet a bit...
I have set my crimp at .3755, tried dropping my charge of Autocomp from 5.5 to 5.3 and cases are still black along one side. Factory loads do not do this. Ideas would be appreciated.
I'm loading for a M&P Shield 9mm. Currently using Fed, Win, Rem, Herters and Blazer brass all separated. Is it really necessary to separate these cases as its a pain in the ... Seems like if all trimmed to length, all loaded the same etc. what difference dose it make.
