I have a .243AI and have never had feeding issues (Rem. 700). Fireforming is not a problem (I use corn meal, Unique, and toilet paper) but turning necks is a PITA. :lol:
Have you considered changing the magazine spring in your rifle?
Sometimes the spring is too weak to push the follower...

How many Vari-X IIIs did you break on those .378s? :twisted:
Personally, I'm surprised. That is a tough scope; is the gun very light for caliber?
