That's awesome Fotis. I tip my hat to the young lady, great shooting.

You will meet her. You two are hunting together this year...If you guys draw.

Do you suppose she will have enough gun for WY antelope, Fotis?

Excellent!
Maybe she can teach me how to shoot my 416 Wby.

Neat Fotis.
You reckon between your 460 and Jim's 416 you'll have enough gun for speed goats?

Dewey,

Never enough buddy!

You do not see many women shooting a big rifle like that. She must have great concentration!! I am not sure I could do it.
Good job!

Blessings,
Dan

It is all in your head.

I have and shoot every wby caliber out there (sans 338-378)

The only one that "hurts" is the 378 without brake.

Muzzle blast always gets me, never feel the recoil till later.
The Lady did a fine job and will be able to hit here target unless she gets Buck Fever.

That upright bench position is one key to success with the heavy kickers.

Good coaching on someone's part...

Yes, I agree. An un-braked 378 is vicious from the bench. Been there done that :p

If I draw, I am bringing my little .243 Ackley and my suppressed .308.

The last time I used a Weatherby on pronghorn, I broke my big nose!

George

That's funny George! I like it. If drawn for mule deer & pronghorn in Wyoming this year, I'll bring the good ol' .25-06 of course, and likely the matching .30-06 too. Logic dictates that the .30 cal 700 CDL is the one for 300 pound mule deer and the .25 for 100 pound pronghorn, but it probably won't work out that way...

Re the .460, the biggest, baddest sporting rifle I ever shot was a .450 Ackley mag on a Model 70 action. That thing was a thumper! Wonder how it compares with the .460 Wby? That .460 is a BEAST!

Guy

My 416 bee worked great for 3 of them LOL
