Weatherby Mark V Carbonmark 6.5 Wby RPM

My wife has taken a liking to my Accumark Limited 6.5 Wby RPM and I was scared it would be confiscated. Since she gets Weatherby new product introductions she wanted to get a carbon barreled RPM. Lo and behold we stumbled upon the Mark V Carbonmark in 6.5 Wby RPM. It’s almost identical to my Accumark Limited but with a carbon barrel.
Topped off with a Leupold VX-5HD gen 2 3-15x44mm FireDot duplex reticle in PRW rings and a picitinny rail.
Using my load with the 142 gr ABLR and 65.3 grs Ramshot Grand, Wby case and Federal GM215M primers we got a paper zero pretty quickly and took it out to 250 yds. Sue put 2 shots on the gong that went 1”.
I think her new rifle is going to be a shooter.

Weatherby sure has been making some of the finest factory made rifles since moving to Wyoming! Sue’s rifle is PD beautiful, and so is your Accumark!

Nice looking rifle and good shooting. Like the paint layout on the stock. Looks like my Vanguard Talos pattern.
