Weatherby Accumark Limited 6.5 Wby RPM

Thank you Eric. I'll shoot another doe this week with the 140 gr AB. Those 140's hit the 250 yard gong pretty hard, should crush a big old doe.

J D have you got to try out the Barnes 127 LRX bullet on game yet ,was just wondering how this bullet would perform on game.
I have taken whitetail deer and antelope from my 6.5 RPM Titanium 2, MK V WBY. Here she is ready to hunt. Maven scope--my All Made in Wyoming setup.

MV is 3160 fps via H869 from my 6.5 RPM. They are deadly on said animals! Never recovered one.

They do quite well also from my 65-300 Bee Accumark II at 3550 fps.

Jim,

that is a gorgeous rifle. Good job on the loads.

Thank you Fotis.
Your rifle is what started my desire for a 6.5 Wby RPM. You have a sweet set up right there.

You're wasting no time putting the new rifle to use!
I've spent the last 6 years working with the NRCS to develop and follow a plan with a forrester. The results have been incredible. We are surrounded by agriculture fields and the result is a healthy deer population. We provide food, both natural and 6 food plots, water and cover to support a healthy deer population. It's perfect for our needs.
The end result is that it's not too difficult to fill tags.

Glad that new rifle is working out for you. Filling tags is another way to test bullets. Both work hand in hand as you well know.
