i made my pressure by folding a small square of aluminum tape to get close to the barrel, then added layers taping the square on the stock and putting the stock back with a dollar bill in between the stock and pressure point. when i had to pull hard enough to get the bill out, i went shooting...

when i had the barrel channel opened on my model 700 i started having this same problem. so i build up a new pressure point using aluminium tape layers and it solved the problem. might not in your case but it's very easy to try.

some guess on what the B.C. could be for this .375 bullet?

thank you guys! somebody from another site ran a quickload for me with this and it came out that with the scirocco being hard and long 61.5 of h4350 was supposed to be max i see no hard bolt lift or flat or cratered primers or other evident pressure signs. but 60.8- 61.1 and 61.5 gr. didn't...

from these loads it looks like retumbo would be even slower :roll:

so i got my reloading stuff yesterday. and reloaded a few 150 scirocco. i also enlarged the barrel channel with a dremel. now it SHOOTS! h4350 59.5 gr. gave me a 4 shot group of.680" and velocities are 2904-2898-2898-2898 :shock: 60 gr. 3 shots .706" velocities 2917-2908-2917 60.5 gr 3 shots...

you may have a nice surprise when you try seating deeper. when i tested a load for my 300 rum with the 200 accubond i tried at first at mag lenght 3.650" and it did 1.75" for 5 shot. than i tried the same load at 3.600" and it did .70". that's my load from now on 8)

speaking of coal... how short is too short. i mean for example the coal max in the nosler data for my 7mm wsm is 2.860" and the bullet touch the land in my rifle around 2.895". now i don't want to get closer to the land than 2.885". but how to tell how short i can go? :?

i have the same thing happen on the neck of my 300 rum cases, they're all black after firing. i noticed that the bolt is harder to close when loading on these than say factory ammo. something wrong with my case prep?

I had one on my rum When zeroed 2" high at 100y , first stadia was 330 2nd was 450, and 3rd 570y Never tried the last one as my range won't go that far They work great except in low light where you lose the tiny lines. Good shooting
