Alliant's website claims that RL-17 has a burn rate similiar to IMR 4350 with better velocities. Sounds like this holds true for the short magnums and BR cartridges but not so much on the 06 family. I have to think it may hold true in the 22-250 as well, I am sure I will have to experiment...

Anyone have any experience with Reloader 17 with 85 gr. BT's in a 25-06? How 'bout in a fast twist 22-250? Hoping to find a powder they both like, 22 likes Varget, the 25 is so-so.
