hey everyone, been a bit since i posted here, hope everyone is doing well! So a thing.. happened yesterday, was in my local gunshop and they "happened to show me a new xbolt max long range...." well i put a deposit down on it...so i guess my question is has anyone had any experience with this...

Congrats, great looking deer!

Thanks folks, yeah i find the quarter bores about perfect for deer sized game. This spot is usually a producer as its kind of a natural travel corridor for the deer. It's my go to spot when i have limited time and has repeatedly produced for me.

my personal favorite caliber! my s2 likes rl25 and 100gr e-tip and h1000 and 100gr scirrocco's. have fun they shoot bigger than they are!

varget, fed 210 primers, and 150gr scirrocco II' in my tikka t3.

my .270 was a picky bugger too. I could not get any type of 140's to shoot very good. It did not like h4831sc either. moved on to 150gr bullets and rl22 and its in its happy place now.

see the bullet section. 150 gr scirocco my mule deer. my fAVORITE so far. 308 tikka t3. varget or imr 4064 is my best.

maybe i missed a post on this about this before but in the 25-06 i would go to a slower powder like rl22, rl25, imr 7828, h1000.

my go to strictly for coyotes is my rem 700 vsf in .220 swift. probably my favorite rifle. a stiff load of imr 4064 and 55gr varmageddon's really puts the hurt on them!
