hey everyone, been a bit since i posted here, hope everyone is doing well! So a thing.. happened yesterday, was in my local gunshop and they "happened to show me a new xbolt max long range...." well i put a deposit down on it...so i guess my question is has anyone had any experience with this particular rifle and anyone with load experience for the 28nosler? i did not have a "7" in my arsenal and i think this will fill that niche nicely.. :grin:

Nothing with that brand of rifle but have a 28. Hart barrel, Stiller action. Using hogdon RETUMBO with 160gr AccuBond

Nothing wrong with that degree of accuracy. Should work to take down anything that needs taking down in NA.

Very nice rifle and very nice shooting! I do have an abundance of retumbo so i was thinking of starting there as well. I have not decided yet on my bullet of choice though. Thinking ablr or eld-x or the 175 sierra gk..

If you get hard up for ammo (been hard to find before a few months ago) I have 2 boxes of 160gr AccuBond factory from nosler I could part with.

Thank you very much for the offer, i am in alberta so not sure about border laws with ammo. my local gun shop has some brass in stock right now so i am going to grab a bunch.
