Great find. I do not think those were there earlier this morning.
Correction- I was looking at the Nosler website and these are still oos. Sorry for any confusion
I think it is a very fine line. I have a Ruger M77 tang safety that my dad bought me for my 12th Christmas. I can comfortably shoot 60 grain Partitions with high success. Over the years I pushed the envelope a bit and tried 64 grain Nosler Bonded and they would keyhole at 25yards. I have not...
Those are great photos. Made me relive an experience from my childhood with my dad. You can really impact a child's perception of the art and skills of hunting by involving them early. Good on you!
If you ever want to discuss antelope in WY, bump me. I know a bit but haven't chased them in a few years due to my son not being able to draw a youth tag in units closer to home.
A number of years ago, I picked up a rep from CA at the Jackson Hole Airport (he had flown in for an event). We took him on the back road to Teton Village and in the 10 miles to his hotel, we saw Bison, Black Bear, Deer, Moose and a herd of Elk. He was completely convinced we set up a milk run...
I know this post is a month old. Give the 200 gr partitions a go. My 300 RUM prefers 200 gr. vs. 180 gr. from an accuracy standpoint. Not sure which powders you have on hand, but a conservative dose( 1-2gr under max) of Retumbo has been highly effective. Every rifle is different of course. My...

Which media are you using to tumble with? Merely curious. I use corn cob with Dillon Precision case cleaner and polish. It is a drier media overall. The pain in the a** with it is checking every flash hole to make sure it isn't plugged. Corn is the perfect size to plug the hole.
It's worth looking into dry lube for resizing. I use an aerosol and make a point to not spray the shoulder of the cases. I find it is less messy than the gel. I'm likely creating an additional step on the multi station press because I don't prime right after resizing. I resize and then tumble...
We see this all the time in the wine and spirits industry. A brand is purchased for an extraordinary amount and the first thing that happens is prices go up 10-15%. Production in most instances stays the same. This is the only way a company can recoup the cost of overpaying for assets. The big...
I second this. Everything I'm hearing is that Alliant is only making powder for govt. contracts and there is nothing left for the general population. If Hodgdon goes this way, there will not be many options left. I'm transitioning to Vihtavouri on a few loads and Hodgdon on others, but have a...
