Thanks for the input guys, it really looks like i am leaning towards the Swaro Z5 3.5-18x44 with BT, but i sure do like the Leica 3.5-14x42 with ASV Turrets. Either way i end up going i will be getting a great scope, now i just have to save up the money for either one that i choose.
I am wanting to know if there is a difference in quality between the Swarovski Z5 and Z6, or is it only the 30mm tube that you are paying extra for. I thought i heard that they use the same glass in all there lines Z3, Z5, and Z6, is there something else diffent about the Z6 line that makes them...
I am looking at getting a new scope, and i found one of these at Wholesale Sports, I looked through it as well as a Swarovski Z5, and to me they seemed pretty close in glass quality. Can anyone tell me if they are comparable or not, because i am trying to decide between these two scopes...
I currently have a Vortex HS 2.5-10x44 on the rifle, it seems like a pretty good scope, i just have not shot through it yet. I wish i would have got one with turrets though, it does seem to make getting on target at longer ranges much easier. Maybe i should just give the Vortex a chance and see...
I know, i really do not like 50 mm unless they are a 30 mm tube, but i want some kind of ballistic turrets and was not wanting to go with a Leupold, not that they are a bad scope, i just was wanting to try something other than them. I guess i could just save up some more money and go with this...
Ok i am getting a new scope for my Tikka T3 270 WSM that i just added a Bell & Carlson stock to, and i am looking at getting one of these two scopes, if it was your money which one would you get and why, and if there is something else that you would get that is close to the same price that...
I currently have a Vortex Viper HS 2.5-10x44 v-plex on my Tikka, i really like the optics, but i am not really that fond of the cross hair, it is a duplex, but a really thin one. I am wanting to know if i could get some suggestions as to what i should go with for a good quality scope with...
I just got one of the new Bell & Carlson stocks for my Tikka T3 270 WSM, i was very happy when i saw that B & C was making a stock for the T3, i love my Tikka but i was never very fond of the factory stock, i found it on Stocky's for $213.00 so i ordered one and it was very easy to put on, just...
I am looking at maybe getting one of these in 300 WSM and was just wanting to know if they are as good as the wood stock Mdl 70's, or should i just go with an EW if i want a synthetic stock. Thanks
I am wanting to know where you guys store your powder, right now mine is still sitting on top of my bench, i have about 10 different bottles of it, should i get some kind of storage container for it, and if so what should it be made of?
I found this, i know that on the Winchester web site they do not list the stainless featherweight as a current model, so when was this rifle made and was it made at the current facility or the old one?

I am just curious and would like to know from all the guys that have 7mm WSM, which primers do you use and why, in most loading books it says to use mag primers, in fact in the nosler #6 it calls for WLRM primers, but i have heard that regular large rifle primers would work best. If that is true...
