Thanks for the reply... I test fired some 180gr WW factory PPs on Saturday...They shot about 1.75" and the barrel jump was profound! The scope lightly smacked me twice... I imagine that little Frontier must do all of that and more with 200gr ers!! After that experience I am...

    Accubonds or Partitons?

What grain bullet are you using in your .300 Mag? If you are around 150gr I would stick with partitions.... 180 gr and above Accubonds shound be equally fine for Deer

    Weatherby or Tikka?

The Sub MOA Vanguards are approx the same price range as trhe Tikka...They are both nice but I certainly like the 24" bbl on the VG...also a decelerator recoil pad and pillar bedded medalist stock. The sub MOA is a whole different animal than the std Vanguard.

120gr BT recipes for my .280?

His load for 140s was RE 22...at least 60gr. Most my .280s have shot 0.50 or better with either Re 19 or H 4831 ( 140 gr )...Never played with 150s. 140 N Accs kill deer like lightning and I worked up 160s for Elk. RE 22 got me under an inch with 160s.
