    Congrats! South Lake Tahoe gambling and shows. The North side is the CA side so no gambling but good fishing and rafting. And to top it off, there is a Cabela's in Reno on I 80 west side of town. Reno's Cabela's has a very nice collection of guns.

    Colorado elk draw deadline is today. I applied for first rifle season unit 61. Again. Last year my brother inlaw and his cousins got unit 61 third season. They had an extremely great hunt filling all tags in five days. I packed meat.

    They got to pick and choose with the exception of my brother in-law, he shot the first bull he saw, about 5 miles from the trail in the middle of dark timber. It took us two days to pack him out. We should of just ate him on the spot.
