when I was hunting them , I skinned them and baked them in an oven bag . they really didn't go over well at a family meal . I haven't hunted them for a long time . I'm not sure if I'll hunt them this year .
here is a write up on a reduced load I did for my grandson's 260 Rem . maybe there is something in there that will help you .

yes , I use them for everything . I have four sets of them . they are great . I have three different 7mm-08's and one set of dies . I just use the appropriate shellholder . I could never get a consistent shoulder bump by gapping the die away from the shellholder . using these shellholders my...
start low and work up while watching for pressure is the golden rule that should always be followed .
if starting out at close to a max load , what do you do when you lock the gun up ? or how much do you lower the charge to get a safe load ? this is a method for disaster .
off the top of my head , my 7mm rem mag in a MKv weatherby , and my 7mm-08 Tikka 595 . both of these reach the lands and feed from the magazine .
edit to add ; with the bullets I'm shooting out of them . 160 accubond in the 7 rem mag , Hornady 139 BTSP in the 7mm-08 . I'm can see some of...
I used to shoot a few indoor pistol leagues through the winter . these clubs all had bullet traps . I helped to clean out my local club trap . all it was , is a heavy piece of steel , probably 1/4" , placed in at an angle . the top of the steel towards the shooters . I'm not sure of the...
the hyper link is right here ,when I mouse over it , it shows up as a red line on this quote.................................................................................................................................XXXXXXXX
this brass is about .010 shorter than SAAMI spec . that's not going to cause you any problems . I would use it and let it grow . I would not trim the other brass short to match the Nosler brass .
nothing with the rifle should cause this . I've read a few times about new Nosler brass being a...
I like to start out long , then I only have one way to go , that's shorter . I start out at the max length that my rifle allows . that length will be either the bullet touching the barrel lands , or the magazine box length . I'll find the length to touching the lands and go 0.010 shorter , and...
the lowest minimum charge listed in the above info is 9.0 grain of LIL GUN . you could start there . then you can work towards the highest max charge listed above 13grain . if you have a chronograph use it . watch for pressure signs as you work up
while sizing a piece of brass , the press at the top of it's stroke , see if you can get a piece of paper between the shellholder and the die , or shine a flashlight and look for light shining through . if you can get a paper , or see light , get a different lube . it doesn't take much of a...
I have a 260 rem that I'm using reduced loads in for my grandson . I used H4895 . I did the 60% of max load . I used a 107 TMK in these . it's very mild recoil at the 60% powder charge . I put a couple of these bullets in water jugs . I'm pretty sure I posted the results in the bullet test...
is the die touching the shellholder , at the top of the stroke , with a piece of brass being sized ? if the die gaps away from the shellholder any at all , you're not sizing to the dies full ability . what will cause this is , lack of lube .
if the die is staying in contact with the...
