Are Leupold's Mil/Mil, MOA/MOA or do they blend them? It seems the ones I have looked at are blended. Eventually for my Savage 10 TR I would like to get either a higher end Vortex or Leupold.

Nice glass. They have a tonne of other models too. Check them out. Warranties are great should you need.
Yup, that's the model I was thinking about, in a different calibre though. I really like them.
Looks great, can't wait to see her when she's all decked out.
If I didn't have the chance to buy the Savage I bought, I was going to go for the Rem SPS Varmint. I find with the Savage that there isn't a lot of after market options/upgrades.
There are a tonne of things you can easily do to the Remington.
However I have 2 Savages and am very happy with...
I got the 2nd one wrong, and the one near the end where the bear had his tail end facing the camera, going into the bush.
Whichever 2 you get wrong or 3 or none...it is a good reminder to double check your quarry before you shoot. Last thing you need is the Conservation Officer showing up at...
I might try and go up to see if I can find the one that I saw. No one else has been up there yet. Pretty muddy. I'm most likely the first set of tracks up there.
It was a beautiful bear. Nice thick coat, and quite a bit of size to him. Maybe this week.
39.5 grains perhaps? The load data from Hodgdon shows that it would be in the mid 2500 fps range. Even the 40 grain load would do well with some tweaking.
It was fun, buddy!

I have yet to Chrony the 70.5 grain load, however according to the manual it should be somewhere near the 2910 fps range.
The drop charts according to JBM show that there is virtually no difference in drop until at least 500 yards between the Barnes 180 TTSX and the Nosler 200 PT out of the...
Well, as some of you know, I have had some issues with 180 gr Barnes TTSX in my .300 Win Mag. After some peer pressure from Nosler06, I made the switch over to 200 gr Nosler PT's. Yesterday was range day with him. I took up 36 rounds of ammo. 4 rounds of each load from 66.5-70.5 grains. I didn't...
I was looking at a pretty good review of it on youtube the other day as NatchezSS sells it pretty cheaply. I have a buddy that got one last year for Christmas, he loves it. I was loading up my 200 gr PT's the other night with the 5-0-5 and was wishing for a Chargemaster... However doing it the...
