Imr7828 or H1000 is supposed to work WELL in the 7 Saum - as slow as they are ! RJ

I have shot lots of the 400 gr Speers out of my 45-70 and 450 Marlin into wood etc - they are a soft bullet - a 525 gr hard cast Bear Tooth Pile Driver boolit would have gone CLEAR through that paper i BET ! jmo RJ

I have converted my Tikka T3 SS to a long bolt stop throw and i now have the long cartridge mags so i can seat out the bullets and stuff in some more powder - i will try your TAC load with the 160 ttsx-ers working up to Max ! RJ

I have Both a Vortex HST 4-16 and a HST 6-24 i LOVE them both ! RJ

Congrats on the Buck and thks for sharing ! I have a Tikka T3 SS Lite in 338 Federal but have yet to kill anything with it - i have 180 gr Accubonds loaded in it and it shoots Well . I really think its a Very Efficent cartridge and I hope to Kill something with it soon ! RJ

Hmm ! Changes to the 7 Saum build the metal work is done- mounted and barrel 6 fluted and indexed ( no bolt fluting YET ) and the new stock is a B&C M7 sporter Stock - Black with Grey spider web - the trigger is a Calvin Elite Timney . The Wilcat stock is going to go on my Rem M7 SS 7mm-08...

Nice Elk - i have being using H1000 in my Rum but now just gotten hold of 5 Lbs of Remtumbo - I am going to give it a try with your 98 gr Load and some 250 gr NPT Bullets and see what the results are ! RJ

Great cartridge the 280 AI - Built one like that years ago with a 24 " SS Shilen - Buddy owns it now and has shot a lot of game with it ! Looking forward to your results . RJ
