    New T/C - Bergara Encore in .30-06

Unfortunately life is short. Shorter for some than others. A young fellow who I guided hunters with was killed in an accident on a local ranch a couple of weeks back. I don’t think he was even 30. Left behind a wife and two kids. His wife is who found him. Nicest guy you’ve ever met. 😔

    .224 64 gr BSB

It would be neat if Nosler offered the .22-250 loaded with the 64 BSB in factory ammunition.

22-250 Remington & 64 Gr Sierra Tipped Gamechanger, HELP?

If I had to guess, it was too long for 1-14” twist barrels to stabilize, and too short for the fast twist guys who worship the feet of the “B.C. is everything” idol. While a .22-250 makes a decent deer rifle with a good bullet, shot placement etc. its bailiwick has always been 50-55 grain...

    Too Early??? 2025 hunt plans

I’m pretty much always perpetually hunting coyotes and chucks throughout the year. The .22-250 usually is the go-to but when the ground squirrels are out a .22 LR, or my old .25-20 get to come out and play some. Rattlesnakes generally get a dose of whatever handgun happens to be holstered on my...

    Interesting auction

Agree 100% its almost a guarantee that the gun will go for more than its worth to somebody that doesn’t know any better.

    Sig Sauer MCX Regulator

Does anyone own one of these? Before I incur the wrath of the “AR-15 or die” club, let me say I have owned an AR-15 and simply didn’t care for it. It was loud, heavy and I didn’t like the lines. I sighted it in and played with it at the range. The rest of the time it sat in the corner. Meh...

    Showing Promise!

Great shooting. I think you have a good load there! We shoot Varget or IMR4350 in my wife’s 7mm-08, but that Big Game looks to be worth a try! Magnum primers with spherical powder makes perfect sense. Better ignition, especially in extreme weather.

    New MS Rifle

Those MS rifles are certainly cool. A neighbor in the little town where I grew up had one, but in .30-06! And boy could he shoot it. I’ve never personally been a fan of mannlicher full length stocks. But that action with the set triggers, butterknife bolt handle and rotary magazine are...

    keyhole

My Ruger M77 1-14” twist .22-250 shoots the 55 grain Sierra Gameking very well but the 55 grain Nosler BT won’t shoot worth a darn. My Dad’s Remington 700 1-14” twist .22-250 shoots the 55 grain NBT extremely well. 🤦‍♂️

    Aftermarket 1911 mags

Yeah this Tisas has been very impressive so far! Love the Parkerized finish and fit of all the parts. The only complaint I have is the sights. They are the rudimentary GI type sights which I thought would be just fine but they are a bit tough to see as there is no daylight on either side of...

    Aftermarket 1911 mags

Who does everyone prefer? I went to Tisas website to order some additional mags for my 1911 A1 9mm but the reviews there were a crap shoot. Apparently its a random draw, which brand (Mec-gar, Sabatti, others) they will send whether or not it’s functional. So rather than roll the dice, I think I...

    Wyoming considers tag price hikes

$200 for anything out of state is cheap. I don’t think $200 would buy you a swift kick in the keister here in Oregon. 😔
