Well guys the wife and I took it on its first road trip and it did quite well. It was really nice being able to drive from Columbus Oh to the house in Md without stopping for gas and still have gas in the tank. The little turbo charged 4 cylinder handled the Appalachian hills quite well and I...
Hey guys since my mountain climbing days are over due to physical limitations I'm putting up for sale 3 M70s capable of taking all game in North America.
I have a 7mm Remington magnum, 300 Winchester magnum and a Classic 338 Winchester magnum. I haven't figured out what they are worth yet and...
Very Nicely Done Jim. I was expecting a barn not a show place with an indoor shooting bench. Do you have a walk in meat locker to hang all the crop damage kill?
I don't Envie you any at all. So far the 2023 Equinox has been a total new learning experience. So much has changed on these cars and all the electronics on it will drive a baby boomer nuts.
GM got this one set up right and the turbo 4 cylinder will outperform some V8s and it will fit in your...
Wish I had bought one when I was younger but then for what I do the RCBS R2 does a good job for me.
One thing is sure is that you will get a proven performer if you decide on buying one.
My Dad used to shoot factory150gr WW Sliver Tips in his pre war M70 30-06 and when hunting heavy thicket areas he would switch up and use Rem 150-180gr core locs. For years I did the same in my 30-06s until I discovered the 165gr Hornaday SP flat base bullet. My 725 Rem had been rebarreled to...
Funny that this is happening to you since I use a lot of Tite group powder for loading 45acp and have never experienced what you're saying.
I load on Dillon reloading presses and though I see some static cling every now and then I have never had it melt my powder hopper.
Bullseye powder is the...
My main reason for having a 35 Whelen Ackley Improved built was to have something different with a little more punch but got a whole lot more of everything.
No rifle information I can only give you pistol information.
There's a reason that SK Pistol Standard plus, SK Pistol Match Special is always sold out and hard to get, It simply outperforms the more expensive ammo and you can't beat the price compared to Eley 10x and the other higher priced...
Thanks for the response Fotis.
My targets are at 25 and 50yds, 10- 21yds is cutting it pretty far to get an actual good muzzle velocity, isn't it? I'm just used to setting my Chrony up at 10ft from the muzzle and don't understand how the Garmin can give a reading for velocity at the...
If it doesn't read pistol velocities, it's of no use to me. I need muzzle velocities for my .45acp and .38 Super so I can create accurate loads and to keep the velocities low enough, so they don't lead my barrels.
Very interesting Fotis, I still have the little Chrony you sold me, and it is outperforming some of my friends more expensive equipment as long as I keep it in the shade during bright full sun days.
Thanks for selling it to me, I don't need all the fancy stuff just need to know how fast my ammo...
Maybe I should have made myself a little clearer. By eating I meant to imply that people who reload and get lead poison usually eat before washing their hands or shoot and eat without washing their hands. Lead is also ingested while shooting and breathing in the smoke from fired rounds while...
No i don't and I cast lead bullets for my practice ammo and unimportant matches.
I do wear a respirator when casting lead bullets.
After casting, reloading and extensive range time I do wash my hands with DE leading soap.
That stuff leaves your hands squeaky clean.
Most lead poison cases come...
Congrats and may you enjoy many more years.
My Wife and I have been enjoying 56yrs together, not all have been bliss, but we have worked or way through hard times and good times.
It takes 2 to make a long-term relationship and I made her my best friend from the beginning.
The Baker's though well-built and stable once set up could come off your feet until you modified the straps that held it on your feet
I still have mine but haven't used it forever.
