Thank you for showing, and making it easy to block such a libtard. I have zero tolerance for you and your peoples kind of stupidity. You've single handedly made this country a far worse place than was ever even imaginable.
I might check out their site, but not at this specific time as Its not really that important to me. I know plenty of shooters who routinely make CB shots past 700 yards on deer, elk, and targets, myself included.
I already stated above I've shot a pile of elk, to be exact, I honestly dont know...
How big is said target at 700? Maybe they need some better shooters...
I have no problems going out to the range, laying prone with a bipod, and smacking a 16" gong at 1K on CB shots on any given day, even with 10-20 mph winds. It's really not that hard with enough practice and the right...
Either will work easily for elk to 600...Hell a 270/280/3006 will do it. I've killed a pile of elk with various 7/300/338 mags from 500 out to 1150, and seen probably 100 more killed out to 900 with the calibers listed above. They all work and did the job as long as we did ours.
Have a few things I'm trying to get rid of. If you're interested in anything, shoot me a reasonable/fair offer. I'll split the shipping with you. Thanks for looking.
Bought a Sig M17 9mm a few months back with the intentions of an EDC since the times are changing in the world. I dressed it up with a few goodies. First I went with the Leupold Delta Pro Point RDS, a 1K streamlight, a sig skelotonized trigger and a Grey Guns fat rod recoil spring. It is a...
It is definitely one of my favorite things to do, besides mule deer and antelope hunting in the wide open sagebrush.
I also only use mouth calls, which gives it a little more personal experience in my opinion. Had a fox pro when they first came out, and honestly was never super impressed with...
That's what they say, although I've never really noticed a huge gain, if any. Premium barrels come lapped from the manufacturer. I haven't noticed any speed increase in my Bartlein on the 7-300. Still shoots the same 3000fps with 450 rounds down it now. But then again, I never had a controlled...
I have a Ruger LCP2 in a 380 and it fits in a shirt pocket, let alone a pants pocket. I love that little thing. It goes with me whenever I need a truly concealed pistol. I have no doubt that a 380 with XTPs will do the job if need be.
I also feel you on the truck driving. I've been doing it for...
That's the plan. I bought a box of factory Hornady match 108s and will shoot four 5 shot groups to check velocity over the first 200 rounds. Shots 1-5 on new barrel did 2982. Will do another 5 at 100, 150, and 200. I'm at 80 rounds down the BRUX as of now.
Looking for some new lapua 223 brass if anyone has an extra box laying around they want to get rid of, fat chance I know, but worth a shot.
I looked at every single online place I could think of yesterday and everyone is out of stock. I did place myself on like 5 notifications for when it does...
That's actually a really good idea.
I am going to do some more load development after these 100 cases are fireformed. My plan is to load 5 each at 40/40.1/40.2/40.3/40.4 and shoot groups at 300 and record velocities. Try to get it narrowed down just a bit more.
Yes I can. That was the goal as it's primarily a coyote/steel and will see a few local PRS/MOA challenge matches. It's pretty cool. I watched that dog fold like a sack of potatoes yesterday and was also able to see the vapor trail and hits on the 500 yard gong.
Thanks Jim. I'm pretty happy with it so far. Only have 80 rounds through it so it should get a little better and faster. Only thing I'm going to do is swap out those crappy WLRs for some CCI 200s. I might tinker with seating depth after these 100 cases of Peterson brass are fireformed. Didn't...
I went with 40.2 It was a .8" group at 300 yards for a .6g charge spread with an ES of 20. I'll take that anyday. Reason being I didn't go with 39.3 is because I want a little more velocity, plus those 3 weren't quite a good of group, especially with the vertical and the ES was 50.
Haven't done...
