How about a 1/4 inch steel plate with welded studs to mount your press on.
Something like a 8x8 inch plate with a 2x12 inch plate welded to the edge of iit to create a L shape. Bolt the plate to the top of your bench and on the edge where the 2x12 piece is pre drill and run some long lag screws...
Well, that sucks, I know that feeling lately.
I am , however, glad to see that you have more restraint than the federal government and aren't out there bouncing checks that you may never be able to pay.
Cut that case in half lengthwise and post some pics.....please.
Another question I have is...
What was the condition of the previous two cases? once fired , twice fired, ect.
I use alot of green dot, red dot, clays and universal clays in my 12 ga.
I have a Lyman shotshell reloading manual. It has countless loadings for all shotguns and different hulls.
I bet it does.
I guess I handle a rifle a bit different.
I am right handed and hold the stock with my left hand around the bottom metal with my fingers by the bolt. The butt of the rifle is between my right elbow and my ribs. As I open the bolt with my right hand I can catch the round in my...
I agree with the improperly adjusted trigger crowd. It kind of reminds me of the gun firing when the safety is disengaged.
I don't know how a guy could lift the bolt with a finger in the trigger. It seems like you would have to intentionally put your finger in the trigger guard. Kind of like...
You should cut one of your cases in half. Just because it didn't split doesn't mean it hasn't been substantially weakened. I used a dremel tool but I suppose a guy could use a hack saw with a fine blade and a light touch.
Apparently they can knock down the twin towers and we can't even punch them in the face.
The seals shouldn't have brought the guy in, if you know what I mean.
Well, I picked up some primers yesterday and laaded some 250gr jacketed bullets with 16.5 grs of IMR 4227 in RP cases and CCI large pistol primers.
Took a cartrige out to my shop and fired a round into a stack of 4x10 fir.
The round penetrated about two inches into the wood.
The primer looks...
Those guys are great. They have replaced my decapping pin, expander ball and rod three times with out any hesitation. That darned millitary 5.56 brass with the crimped primer pockets are not kind to the reloader.
I have had guys tell me not to shoot one out of the back of a pick up unless you want to blow the tail lights out. They also said wear ear plugs under the ear muffs and take two Tylenol before you start shooting.
Was it accurate?
I have been looking at the Bushmaster 50 for about a year and a half. What are your thoughts on the construction of the gun. How effective was the brake?
The only thing that has held me back from buying it is the cost of shooting it. I like to shoot alot.
What do you mean by "looks like copper"?
Sweets flat out removes copper. I don't have any experience with lubalox bullets. I have heard that it takes a few rounds of coated bullets to transfer the coating to the barrel. That may be what you are seeing.
Of course if it is a copper color than it's...
