The the first 2 centerfire rifles I bought were 30-30s, an H&R Handi Rifle and a Winchester 94, geez I cant remember the last time I have shot either one of them. I do have some ammo loaded up with LVR and I'd have to look but I think some Speer or Sierra 150's

Looking a some regs from 2019 vs 2024 for Nonresident elk the price went from $905 to $1,048, I have not seen the 2025 regs yet. They do have a nonresident native for people that were born in montana and still have a resident relative, 2024 price for that is half the nonresident price.
