My Browning A bolt .375 H&H has the boss system.I don't find the blast and noise as objectionable on it as I do with other smaller high velocity rounds.
The rifle is very light weight and would still kick quite a bit. I like a .375 to weigh about 9lbs,so I put a mercury recoil suppressor in the...
I have fire lapped a couple of guns with rough bores. It mainly helps make them easier to clean.I will not personally use it unless the gun has a problem with accuracy, and excessive stubborn fouling.Only if the bore appears to be rough and has problems.Another reason I enjoy shooting cast...
Congrats! What a great rifle, I have one just like it.Mine has the Leupold VariXIII 1.5X5 on it.It seems like my rifle likes IMR 4320.I have forgotten because it has been so long since I loaded for it.
I hope. They have the best customer service in the industry.Leupold is right there with them.If every company in America was that great ,we wouldn't have anything much to worry about as far as equipment goes.
I did have to return a revolver to S&W once because it was loose and inaccurate. When...
Back in the 80's I spent an entire hunting season hunting with nothing but the Redhawk.I think I have killed seven or eight deer with it.Never lost one,but I got the distinct impression that my Keith type cast bullets killed better than the jacketed bullets that I used.I could shoot a deer count...
Don't expect anything free from Lyman. I have an old bullet mould that the handle screws are worn out on.They want $6.00 for replacement screws. At RCBS ,they would be free.I don't know how Redding is on customer service? Anyone know?
If you can get them to fit back in the sizing die that will work.Feed each one carefully into the sizer by hand.If the bell is too large then case will just crush. You don't need to flare the case out very much with jacketed bullets.
Just enough to accept the base of the bullet.
With cast lead bullets I usually size them to bore diameter or .001 over. You may want to slug your bore and see what dia it actually is.This is easy to do with a round ball or pure lead slug and a wooded dowel and mallet. You can also pull one of the old bullets and mic it.I have shot lead...
I just notice that Ruger is chambering their #1 in .450/400 Nitro Express. Damn how I would love to get my hands on one of those.

But I really have no need for it. I can do the same thing with my #1 in .405 winchester, handloading the 400 grain...
That is good to hear. I have Canadian friends and church members.I didn't mean anything negative.I guess a lot of the liberals live in the cities like most of them do here in the US.There are regions of the country like the northeast that are extremely liberal here in the US. Where I live in the...
So,how do you deal with living in Canada? I mean your firearms rights are practically non existent. Most of the people I know from Canada are ultra liberal. So, how can you stand to live there?
They will never take away any of my personal rights as long as I am above ground, but that is not what concerns me.They can do alot of damage to the country at large, and rewrite the Constitution. That is their ultimate goal.
