Yeah, I have some 124 grain Gold Sabers that I need some loads for.I have never loaded the 9mm.It is my fly gun.I will use it for shooting horse flys and june bugs.
I have never owned one can of Bullseye. I am sure it is great, but I always feared double charging a case, especially when I use to load them one at a time..With Unique ,that can't happen.I guess I am missing out on a really great powder eh?
I looked for that ammo and I think it is going to be really hard to find right now.I may have to buy some Remington Factory load 230 grain Golden Sabers for now.
Seem that alot use 00.
I have always liked #4 Buck( 41 pellets to the shell)
I put a load of that over the top of some night hunters that shot in my yard.
They left in a hurry and I haven't seen them since. The sound of those blue whistlers got their attention. :lol:I did hear them muttering...
I shot 7X57mm's for years. I really like the 7mm/08 better though. My son's rifle is a Steyr Safebolt stainless hunter. It has a 20" barrel. The load of 46 grains of IMR 4350,Winchester brass,Federal 210 primer,Nosler 140 BT will shoot under an inch and 100 yds.He has killed some really nice bucks...
I am not knocking the Kimbers. I think they are great pistols. My Gold Medal Match is not the most accurate 1911 I have fired. It may very well be the fact that the rear sight has play in it.It could be my loads. I have shot 6 grains of Unique and a 200grain semi wadcutter for years.I have a...
I shoot a lot of .22LR.It has always been a first love for me.I started hunting at ten with a Winchester model 62.I use to shoot on an ROTC team with a Winchester Model 52D.I really wish I had that rife now.My father bought an old three screw Ruger .22 single six when I was a Kid. That was my...
I have the Kimber Gold Medal Match I. It is a fine gun, but the target sight has too much side to side play. I need to take it off and send it back to Kimber.Either that or put a BoMar on it.
Is it worth twice the price of my Taurus 1911 stainless.Hell No!
That Taurus is bad ass. Try one and you...
Just wondered what you fellow use. I have a Ruger MarkII Slabside Gov't Target. The pistol is unreal. It is the long barrel and I put a Burris scope in it. We shoot empty 20ga shotgun shell off of a rack at 50 yards consistently, from the bench of course .My main practice gun is a Model 41 S&W 5 1/2"
The FMJ hardball is really worthless in a 9mm.I can see how the round nose wouldn't do much good on transferring energy.I will check out that Federal law enforcement ammo at my local dealer.I guess it is for sale to civilians.
Any ideas for distributors that might have it in stock?
I may let some other lucky guy have it.Besides what do I really need with a 14 shot .45 ACP.Pistols that jam make me nervous as hell.I have two series 70 Colts, and they have rarely jammed with thousands of rounds.
I gave the nickel plated one to my son. That gun is unreal.
