22-250 brass not able to salvage

My son tried some of their brass in a different caliber and wasn't too impressed. Problem not to your extent though. Did you contact Nosler to discuss this with them?

Let me see a show of hands of the Trap Shooters on our forum.

The club I belong to started out with skeet and trap ranges in 1962. We added a house on each side of the trap house to make a three-stand type of shooting. The skeet range gets the most use of all three. Rifle and pistol ranges are the most used of all.

    LH 358 Win

Bummer on the lack of the preferred ammo. That Winchester PP will getter done also. Then you can develop loads with the Sierra 225gr. It does well in my 35 Whelen. You're going to like the performance.

Completed transition from Alliant to Hodgdon...

I like the RL series of powders, wish I had more than I do. I'll keep using them till there gone. Me personally, I've always developed more than one load for each rifle with different bullet weights and different powders. Good to have options. Some may not be quite as accurate but plenty good...

    Frustrating Tikka T3 Magazine Issue

Bummer. I would have to sacrifice one of those magazines and try the bevel taper lip ideas that were given just to see if it helps. Out of curiosity have you contacted tikka about your problems?

    2025 Nosler Bullet Wish List

A 200gr BT 358 diameter bullet for the lowly 358 and 35 Whelen owners would be a great deer bullet. They used to make it. I know it is not a real popular caliber bullet selection, but Nosler could make a run every three years and enough of them to last for awhile. Serria does this.

    Frustrating Tikka T3 Magazine Issue

Have you tried different magazines in each of your rifles to see if that might eliminate the problem? My tikka T3X stainless hunter works fine with both of the magazines I have. It's a 6.5x55 but don't know if that has any bearing on your problem.

    Bullets for reduced recoil loads

When son Ben was 12 yrs old and starting deer hunting, he wanted a 270 win like Uncle Billy. So got him one and a friend suggested using H380 starting load with the Sierra 130gr game King. It grouped well and killed deer out to about 175 yards or there abouts. Never checked speed but my guess...

    Bullets for reduced recoil loads

Either one is good. Those soft noses get banged up when using a kinetic puller. I put a round ear plug at the bottom of mine where the bullet will hit when pulling. Just make sure bullets have a cushion to hit.

Which optic sights do you use on your pistols?

Ernie that is about the best explanation of using a red dot as I have read. Have been practicing unloaded at home. My only red dot sighted pistols are a Ruger MK4 competition and a Springfield Armory Ronin 45acp with an adaptor in the rear dovetail for mounting the red dot. Burris Fast Fire 3 on...
