That’s what it was. Fast forward to today I finally got some loaded up. It took some doing to track some down. These will be shot out of a H&R break action rifle.
I thought about the Tubb’s XC , but my heart is in the Weatherbys. I have a good supply of Jamison and Wby brass on hand. The Jamison brass has shown to hold well in my son’s 378 Wby and my 416 Wby.
Looks like you should have a winner in your hands.
Nothing more frustrating to spend money on a chambering twice with poor result. At least the new smith seems to have your best interest in mind.
One thing I will add is make you list in the right category. I’ve won rifles at starting bids and no one else has bid on. I believe they did not come in searches due to description errors.
It’s a 1:10 twist. With a finished length of 32” my intent is 350gr LZRs above 3000 fps with N570 and easy on the brass. With my 416 Wby I can run the 350gr TTSX past 3000 fps if I want.
My son has a 378 Wby in a Mark V that he’s been tinkering with the 320 and 330 MTHs.
Just want to give them a shout out for getting me a barrel in short time. Placed the order on 7-8 and was delivered today 7-23.
Now only to get my action that I purchased last year to get the ball rolling.
