G'Day Fella's,
Leadchucker, Thank You for the kind wishes and nicely done, for those two groups!
And yet another Bloody Well Done, to EVERYBODY at Nosler!!!
Further to this, if I can't get a rifle to shoot with Nosler bullets, I know there's something wrong with the Bedding etc!
Doh!

G'Day Fella's,
I've had a CZ 452-2E rifle in .22LR for 5+ years now, and have shot it on occasions in 50 Meter BR competition.
I have done OK in this, as the rifle is very accurate but despite floating the barrel, doing a trigger job etc, I new the rifle could do better.
I recently fitted a new...
G'Day Fella's,
FYI, I've now finished the Blackhawk, including installing a modified Super B/hawk hammer and doing a 1 1/2 pound trigger job on it.
I'm awaiting some Australian grown, English Walnut (grip size off cuts) to arrive from a mate that harvests and mills gun stock blanks.
Whilst...
G'Day Fella's,
Truck Driver, in my experience, the first bullet out of a clean barrel, almost always goes low!
I've since learn't this isn't always the case (see Dark Horse above), and a below example.
The most left hand bullet hole in this 5 shot group, is the first shot out of a spotlessly...
G'Day Fella's,
IdahoCTD, sorry for the delay in replying, been a bit side tracked with stuff.
Yes mate good advice, those 6mm cartridges would be chooses for deckin Skippy's!
And a bit better at dealing with wind etc as well.
A couple of Pro-Roo Shooters I know, used 6mm PPC and 6mm BR for...
G'Day Fella's,
Sorry Guy, I'll try to include a Donut, next time! LOL!!!
Yes, it's an Investment Cast copy, of a Farquarson (Google - Gibbs Farquarson).
The Aussie manufacturer, made up several hundred (?) of these, for the custom rifle market!
The owner of this one, has a few more of them...
G'Day Fella's,
Alderman, what I do (if the bullet isn't being crimped etc) on most of my Hunting and Varmint rifles, is to seat any bullet from 0.020" to 0.030" off the lands!
I then start at the Start powder charge, and increase it in either 1/2 or 1 grain increments (depending on case...
Bret N, nice bit of shooting there mate!
FYI, this is what the Nosler 125grn B/tip in a .308 Win will do to a Chamois ("Chammy") in NZ!
If I remember correctly, I used ADI, AR-2207 (H4198) powder with this load and it shoots like Stink (real good!), from this little rifle!!!
Hope that helps...
G'Day Fella's,
Idaho CTD, it's not actually mine, I'm just transferring it to another dealer!
Apparently, it may end up as a .600 Nitro Express?
FYI, here is another example of one of these same Australian made actions, but a bit further toward being finished!
Enjoy...
G'Day Fella's,
Truck Driver, I'm not sure?
So far, after baking, I let the bullets cool down outside in the air. Some quench =them in cold water!
Steve4102, nice looking bullets they mate, most impressive!!!
Tim629, it is like adding a synthetic jacket to your home cast lead bullets.
The...
G'Day Fella's,
Just a bit of a follow up on this.
Here are some images of some .375", 280 grain hard cast bullets I made and then Powder Coated to other day!
FYI, these were Tumble Coated and the out come, was only OK. I'll order a purpose made spray gun for it shortly!
Here is what happens...
G'Day fella's,
Jezzolo, to the best of my knowledge on this cartridge, it was designed to fit and feed thru the slightly longer Win M-70 short action magazine.
But http://www.wyattsoutdoor.com also make two lengths of after market replacement magazine boxes, to suit the Rem 7 and Rem 700...
G'Day Fella's,
Mr Nosler, please accept my apologies for posting this but some tinkerers may find it of interest!
FYI, here is a thread I posted on another great forum www.NitroExpress.com

G'Day Fella's,
FOTIS, I use "Bore-Stores" which are apparently made of some Silicone treated synthetic Polar Fleece type material.
I use these for both handguns an longarms and I purchased them from Brownells for $? each.
Hope that helps

G'Day Fella's,
I recently went looking for some options on Hollow Point bullet moulds for my .45 Colt firearms (Revolvers and 1892 rifle).
